Haydite is an aggregate produced by firing shale in a rotary kiln at 2200 Deg. F. When mixed with calcium-aluminate cement, the resulting concrete or mortar provides excellent insulation, corrosion resistance, and high crushing strength. Can withstand service temperatures up to 2000 Deg. F. For 65 years, Haydite has found widespread usage throughout the United States and is exported the world over for use in refractory applications. |
